5 RV Friendly U.S. Cities

Owning an RV allows you the opportunity to go anywhere that your heart desires. You can see so many beautiful things, go so many places and make memories that will last a lifetime. If you're trying to come up with some new ideas for places to go with your RV, we have the five friendliest U.S. cities that you should consider traveling to.

Las Vegas, Nevada

You may associate Las Vegas with being a big city with lots of people. Because of that, this might not be a location that comes to mind when you're planning an RV vacation. Vegas has some lovely RV parks that come with plenty of amenities. Most RV parks in Vegas are located just outside areas with all the casinos and sights.

Washington, D.C.

If you're a history buff, plan to escape to one of the RV parks located within the D.C. area. Many of the RV parks have shuttles that will transport you from your site right to the center of all the amazing attractions that you can spend the day checking out.

Orlando, Florida

Orlando is an excellent place for tourists, and there are RV parks all over the place. If you do some research, you can make sure that you're centrally located near Disney World, natural attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc. The RV parks in the area often have pools and other amenities.

Phoenix, Arizona

Arizona is a lovely place to travel any time of year. In the summer, you can enjoy the heat and sun. Even the winter months are much nicer than the weather that you'll find up north. Desert Shadows is a popular RV park in Phoenix with tons of amenities and even on-site activities that will help you meet other people on your travels.

Denver, Colorado

Denver is a gorgeous place to visit in your RV. You can head to a more quiet location up in the mountains, or you can spend some time in the central city areas. Clear Creek RV Park in Denver is a popular RV park that's 30 minutes outside of the city.

Having the freedom to travel whenever and wherever you want when you own an RV is great, but it's nice to spend some time planning out your vacation, so you know the best places to stop and stay the night. Not all cities in the U.S. are friendly when it comes to RV accommodations.
