Are There Any Electric RVs

Traveling in an RV is an excellent way to create new memories for those who enjoy spending time on the open road and having outdoor adventures. RVs are known to be gas-guzzlers, which has significantly contributed to the cost of owning or renting an RV. As more electric cars emerge on the market, more people are wondering if there are any electric RVs available.

Winnebago is the first fully electric RV that makes it easy to go green while traveling thousands of miles on the road. The model is powered by an 86-kWh battery and can drive 125 miles, which includes providing power to the different tech tools and features in the cabin.

Some of the main amenities powered by the RV’s battery include a slide-out induction cooktop and a marine-grade refrigerator. These products make it easy to spend more time in the RV and have your own home on wheels. The manufacturer is currently in the process of expanding the driving range to 200 miles for added convenience. Most people who use an RV are prone to driving more than 200 miles away from their permanent home.

The SylvanSport is another electric RV that has a range of 400 miles and delivers 290 horsepower, which prevents it from feeling weighed down by its massive size. The model also gets 3,000 ft-lbs of torque and has a host of green technologies in the cabin. The interior features a small kitchenette and a setup for water recycling.

Consumers also favor the Iridium EV, which comes with a 249 driving range due to its advanced battery. Inside, you’ll find a dry bathroom and shower, a split double bed, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dining lounge for up to five people.

The Nissan e-NV200 offers a weekender sleep package and comes with a kitchen. This smaller RV is ideal for traveling shorter distances and can charge the battery in 40 to 60 minutes to ensure you can get back on the road. It’s currently been tested in Europe and Spain and will eventually arrive in the U.S. to accommodate more travelers and consumers.
