The Spotlight on Excellence Luncheon in Las Vegas was a monumental moment for Forest River RV and Lightspeed. As a premium dealership management solution, Lightspeed’s software helps dealerships and manufacturers grow their business in a streamlined fashion. Lightspeed’s awards this year included a very important award: RV Innovator of the Year.
Forest River Wins RV Innovator Award from Lightspeed
James Gingerich accepted the 2025 RV Innovator of the Year Award from Lightspeed’s Associate Director of OEM Business Development during a business luncheon in Las Vegas. It’s an honor that Forest River is super proud of.
Gingerich took the time to express his gratitude for the award. “We knew that if we wanted to be the best partner for our dealers, our systems needed to speak the same language as theirs. This award really comes from working side by side with our partners to build solutions that make the dealer experience feel more tailored and connected.”
Lightspeed’s Jeremy Johnson also took the time to explain just why Forest River was honored as the top RV innovator this year. Johnson said, “Forest River has gone all-in on using technology to make life easier for RV dealers, and that is exactly what the Lightspeed RV Innovator of the Year Award is meant to celebrate. No other RV manufacturer launched more Lightspeed integrations in 2025. From VIN decoding and warranty flat rates to recalls, price files, and the new Forest River Major Unit Important integration, they have consistently pushed for connected, dealer-friendly solutions.”
Gingerich also related how determined Forest River was to update the way it does business. Tired of the painstaking manual processes, they wanted to shift more to software systems and a quicker way of doing things. He believes that the award shows how well they succeeded in making this “cultural shift” to more modern RV innovation and sales. Forest River wants to stay at the top in 2026.
It was a small but intimate award ceremony that gave both Forest River and Lightspeed a chance to explain their new technological achievements and how they benefit dealerships around the country. People who were present or who watched the ceremony were impressed by the way these businesses have joined forces to propel RV innovation into a next-gen mindset.
