All that exploring and fresh air will help you work up a healthy appetite. And just because space may be limited in your RV’s kitchen, it doesn’t mean you can’t whip up something delicious.
In fact, you might even find that some of your best dishes are created on the road. We hear it all the time. Whatever the case, there are many road recipes that are easy to make and delight in. Here are some of our favorites:
Get your day headed in the right direction by making your family a breakfast pizza. Start by greasing a pizza pan. Then, press dough rolls onto the pan, making sure they are evenly distributed. Next generously place sausage, bacon, cheese and onion on top of your dough. From there, you’ll want to whip up a few eggs and pour the mixture on top of everything else. Season as you see fit. Place the pan in your oven and cook for about a half hour or until the pizza is golden brown. Voila! You have a meal that the whole family will love.
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded potatoes
1 cup cooked and drained sausage
1/2 cup of chopped bacon
1 can of rolls, room temperature
1/4 cup milk
Asian Chicken Salad
Staying healthy and fit on the road is important. An Asian Chicken Salad will help you do just that. Plus, it is a delicious alternative to sandwiches.
5 cups baby spinach
Kikkoman Wasabi Sauce
1 pound of boneless, skineless chicken – preferably breast meat
1 cup chow mein noodles
1 cup snow peas
Once all the ingredients are mixed together, top off your salad with Kikkoman Wasabi Sauce. Bon Appetite!
There’s nothing like firing up the grill to make homemade burgers in the great outdoors. Here’s a recipe that will make your family come back for seconds during dinner.
1 pound ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped potato
2 whipped eggs
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1/4 cup of A1 Sauce
Mix all these ingredients in a large bowl and make individual patties. Cook on each side until the burgers are cooked to your liking.
